Dr. Nani Raut is an Assistant Professor at Department of Environmental Science and Engineering at Kathmandu University. She has completed PhD from Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Norway in 2012, Master degree from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand and Bachelor degree from Kathmandu University. Her expertise includes soil ecology; agriculture & food security; greenhouse gas emissions from soil; and global environmental change. She has more than six dozen of scientific publications in international peer reviewed journals. Dr. Raut has been heading several collaborative research projects. She has experience on interdisciplinary research from the South and Southeast Asian region, especially from Pakistan, Nepal, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar and Bhutan.
